Columbine Memorial Scholarship for students supports engaged students from Jefferson County School District who have made a positive impact in their school and/or larger community.

Eligibility

  • Graduating from a public high school in the Jefferson County School District
  • Cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5+Planning to begin classes at an accredited university, college, community college, or technical school in the United States in the upcoming fall semester.

Selection criteria

Applications will be reviewed based on:

  • Essay response(s)
  • Reference(s)
  • Extracurricular activities and leadership
  • Academic performance
  • Financial need

Award details

  • Scholarship Range: $3,500
  • Typical Number of Awards: 12 Two of those students must be from Columbine High School.
  • This scholarship is a one-time award
  • Award amounts may be used toward tuition, fees, books, room and board, and any additional cost of attendance expenses.
  • All scholarships will be paid directly to a recipient鈥檚 post-secondary institution. Award disbursement is contingent upon the outside scholarship policies of a recipient鈥檚 post-secondary institution
  • Award must be used for the upcoming academic year
