Women across Montana can be found at various events promoting beef. Local groups have donated beef to Senior Centers, served meals at trade shows and other events, hosted students at their ranches where they top off the educational experience with a tasty cheeseburger, and served samples of beef using recipes generated from beef check-off dollars.

Beef Education
The Montana CattleWomen offer a variety of educational learning experiences and activities for a range of ages/classes FREE for you as a teacher or a CattleWomen member to use. We are proud to offer lessons and resources about Agriculture, the BEEF world, its lifestyles and becoming a better consumer by learning to purchase and prepare beef.
Our educational programs are funded by the Montana Beef Checkoff and local organization fundraisers.
Some of the materials are available for downloading and some of the programs may be taught by a presenter in your classroom. Please contact, Corey Taylor at mtcwbeefed@gmail.com, and she will assist you in acquiring the necessary materials and a presenter, if one is in your area.
Scholarships
Montana CattleWomen Inc. has offered Memorial Scholarship since 1963. Montana CattleWomen, Inc. is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a student from a Montana home who is enrolled in one of the state colleges or universities. Preference will be given to an applicant majoring in a field beneficial to the livestock industry.
To qualify for this award, a student must currently be at least a sophomore in college and have a grade point average of 2.7 or better. The scholarship will be awarded to the student who is determined to have the best balance of grades, citizenship, and financial need. The winner will be announced in May of each year.
Application forms are available at college Financial Aid Offices throughout Montana or can be downloaded online. ALL parts of the application must be completed/sent to qualify for this scholarship.
