Alberta Wilderness Association is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025. In discussions around our legacy, we have decided to establish an annual scholarship of $5,000 for undergraduates in an environmental program.
Applicant Requirements
- Undergraduate student undertaking a degree in Environmental Studies, or similar program.
- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Alberta resident, attending any university in Canada.
Application Procedure
Submit the following documents to Alberta Wilderness Association:
- Submit your university acceptance letter or current transcripts.
- Resume and cover letter explaining how your academic program fits into the environmental sector, and your post-graduate goals.
Application Deadline
June 15 of each year. Email awaed@abwild.ca with reference 鈥淓nvironmental Scholarship.鈥�
Please note that by applying, the winner grants consent to have their name published by AWA on our social media, in our Wild Lands Advocate, and our annual report.
The winner will be selected by committee and advised in August.
