Established in 1998, the March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships recognize and promote excellence in nursing, reflecting our commitment to improving maternal and infant health for all families.
Scholarships are awarded to top-scoring applicants who demonstrate dedication to improving maternal and infant health. Each recipient receives a $10,000 scholarship supported by Pampers, a valued March of Dimes partner.
Undergraduate Nursing Scholarships
These scholarships are open to undergraduate nursing students committed to respectful care for all and driven to address the maternal and infant health crisis. Qualified applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate nursing program and have a commitment to working in maternal or infant health after graduation. Deadline to apply is March 14, 2026.
Graduate Nursing Scholarships
These scholarships are available to registered nurses enrolled in an accredited master's or doctoral nursing program. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to improving maternal and infant health for all families. The highest-scoring recipient in the Graduate Nursing category will receive the鈥疍r. Margaret Comerford Freda Award. This honor was established in 2016 by March of Dimes to honor Dr. Margaret Comerford Freda, a long-time National Nurse Advisory Council Chair, volunteer, and friend.
